New questions = new answers.
When the only tool you’ve got is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.
Often, our mind becomes full of a problem. We concentrate on it until other possibilities stop existing. We become undone by our inability to see anything outside our own problem. We struggle to see a world of possibilities outside the limits our mind has set.
When we’re stuck in a rut, we need to ask someone outside the problem to help, someone who’s mind isn’t consumed by the problem. Our ability to create hinges on our willingness to ask new questions and seek diverse perspectives.
Our audience is always people who aren’t like us, so we must connect on a deeper level over shared human experiences.
